Churchill Tanks in Italy.

The graphs below are been based upon information given by 8th Army Tank Status reports (held at the Public Record Office) and compiled by Richard Anderson. Many thanks to Richard for sharing his research with us.

To create these graphs I have simply totalled up all the numbers of each Mk of churchill be they reported as being in service, being repaired or knocked out.

The Churchill MkVIs listed for 25 Tank Brigade are assumed to be mis-reported and were most likely NA75 conversions. Note that MkIs are stillb eing used in a close support role until disbandment of 25 Tank Brigade.
